Matt's Garage
The Jamison Garage update!

Out front of Matt's garage, a picture his stable!

1965 Chevrolet Chevelle

Matt has owned this Chevelle since 1997. He bought the car car with no motor and trans, and after a few years it now has a 355 ci. and Th350 combo, with the original 10 bolt 3.08 rear end with a "Lincoln Locker". Matt would like to swap out the rear end for a 12 bolt with a real limited slip and 3.90 gear set, however his other vehicles have a priority at this time.

Currently the car runs a 13.4 @ 118 mph.

You can see more of it running at the Kingdon Drags 2007 here. There's even a little video!

1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon

The 1963 Nova Wagon. He's had this car for nearly a year now, making the trip down to the Paso Robles show last year. This car is his daily driver and jams around from grocery store to grocery store at about 20 miles per gallon. It has a 230 ci. inline backed by a T-5 transmission. Matt finished most of the body work over the last year and plans to paint it in the spring of 2008. Stay tuned for a 1963 Chevy II Wagon with wood panelling!

1939 Ford Truck

Matt's new love... a 1939 Ford Pick Up, most addition to the Relic's Farm Truck club. This heap-o-rust has been sleeping in a field in Stockton, CA since 1964, and Matt started the resurrection it in 2007, this hay hauler will remain as stock as possible down to the flathead v8 and banjo rear end.

Greg's Gasser Ranchero
More can be found on Greg's Gasser 1965 Ford Ranchero page!

The garage scene at Greg's house this January. The Ranchero dominates the garage while Greg takes measurements and installs ladder bars and housing rotaters for MAXIMUM DRAGSTRIP LAUNCH ACTION!!

This picture is about five seconds before the front axle was pulled from under the car. Greg had to redesign the mounts, remount the front spring, after the engine was put back in it lost all suspension travel. He actually already has the suspension fixed, and put it back together!

The 400 Pontiac now sports a pair of Offenhauser crossrams bolted to an Edelbrock Dual Quad intake.

The "toolbox" in the back of the Ranchero makes a clever battery box.

Jake's 1948 Ford Truck
Scarin' old ladies in a chopped '48 Ford truck!!

This is Jake's chopped 1948 Ford truck, sportin a Camaro front clip and small block Chevy and TH350.

I've heard of cars being in the weeds, I think this is Jake's truck, in the park!

Jake's Warning!!
Jake's warning letter from the LPD! Highly trumped up accusations, I've been told!

Mike Walter's 1972 Camaro

Mike is making excellent progress on his Camaro, last I heard he's still got some wiring issues to attend to, and he should be driving this soon!!

I know it has 17" polished Torq Thrust D's and a small block Chevy, but hopefully Mike will give us some more info!!

Steve's Garage: S&S Automotive

Steve Carlson is another Livermore local, a Mopar guy, and general just a great guy with an incredible garage. There's just too much to say, click on the link below to see more on Steve's garage!

More can be found on Steve's Garage webpage!

Mike's Model A Coupe
Now with his own webpage here: Mike's 1931 Ford Model A Coupe page

What a way to raise the bar on building a Model A Coupe!!

Mike has been doing an incredible job putting this Hot Rod together, and I'm really glad to see it moving along so quickly, especially considering the quality of work on it!

The engine has gone in!

  • 355 Chevy with Three Rochester Carbs on an Edelbrock intake
  • Full Roller Valvetrain
  • Dart Sportsman Heads, fully ported by Blackstone Racing
  • Keith Black Pistons
  • Eagle Crank and Rods
So not only will it look good, but it should haul ass! Hope those bias ply tires can offer this little rocket some traction!

Mike is hoping to having it driving in the next three months. Steve and I say we could have it going in about 4 hours, but Mike doesn't rush anything, so when it finally goes down the road, you know it won't just be going, but it will look great, and be incredibly well thought out, too!

My 1970 Dodge Challenger

You can't hear it, but she's running!!

Finally, the wiring has been figured out enough that she starts and runs on the key, and I just finished POR-15ing the front and rear window channels, have installed the trim clips, and hope to get the front and rear glass installed. The power steering system has been figured out, and sports a new pump!

Still need to drop the tranny, replace the throwout bearing, sand the car down again, and throw a fresh coat of sealing primer on her!

I'm hoping to be driving her by the next update!!

My Model A Coupe

There hasn't been any real progress yet, I've been working on getting the Challenger going. I did start bolting on all the fenders, brackets and such I've collected, and snapped a picture. I still haven't trimmed down the roof insert yet, either.

I kinda like it. With the fenders and the stainless headlights, the Model A shell looks better. I always figured real hot rods have a stripped down look, but the fenders add to the "antiquey" feel to the car, and my girlfriend really likes 'em. We'll see!
