I really can't explain the full-on coolness of this show, at least for the Mopar nut. The sound of uncorked Mopar V8s filled the air, and being able to walk between watching some real nice Mopars on the strip, then wading in between loads of awesome Mopars of all marques, and then a small swap meet with a handful of cool stuff. I'll be back.

This Saturday was absolutely gorgeous up here in the California Wine Country
I cannot tell you how cool this thing was! Seeing what looked like a show car with slicks on steel wheels knocking out mid 12's was friggin' awesome!!
First car to get my attention as I walked in. This guy was really nice, and had a really nice 'Cuda racecar.
The "Boston Strangler". Don't know if it was a real vintage racer or not, but it was damn cool!
Got to love a good Challenger, and there were plenty to go around!
The T/As are my favorite, naturally!
Mmmmmm.... Shaker..... Yummmy!
One of the full-boogie cars, a '67 Coronet.
This thing was just plain crazy!
This tube-chassis 'Cuda was moving down the quarter to the tune of 6.40s. Insane!
Seen this Duster 340 (Really a 408 stroker!) run really low 12's up at Sac Raceway before. He claims it can do it in the mid 11's, which I'd believe.
There was a handful of the winged wonders. I would have taken more pictures, Daytonas and Superbirds are cool, but once you've seen a few, you've really seen 'em all. Simply my opinion, of course...
Chick in her Dodge Demon. She was out drag racin' it, and having fun!
This Duster 340 had a neat-o paint job, so I had to get some pictures of it. The guys were super cool, too.
This thing was running 13.7s, but I never asked what was under the hood. He was explaining to his Dad where the hell the Plymouth went.... (just kiddin'!)
Gang Green? This was one four-door I wouldn't mess with, seeing as it was running a 12.20 index (It was that or 10.50, which would be even crazier!)
A pair of green birds, excellently showing the contrast of Sassy Grass Gren/Green GO! and Sublime Green/Limelight paint. I want my Challenger T/A (clone) painted in Sublime, which is the eye-poppin' one on the left!
Lil' Dodge Dart was doing the dragstrip boogie, too.
Lunchtime with me and my hottie.
The primered projects were out too. The Road Runner was doing 12.50's.
I saw these guys up at Cool April Nights about five or six years in.... where ever the hell that show is in Norcal. Anyways, its a father/son team of two awesome all-steel '68 Chargers. They provided some good info and motivation on my tragic first '68 Charger project. The black '68 was running 9.90s on a 588 Wedge, and the not sure what the red one was doing, but it had a 440 with B-1 heads. Really good to see they're still haulin' ass.
This guy had a real bad day..... God, I feel so bad for him.
It was a really really beautiful car, and I hate to see a really nice car get destroyed. Best wishes, man!
1958 Dodge Sweptline pick-up. A fairly rare truck, the factory equipped it with the wings/tailfins off a '58 Dodge car. Weird, but in a very cool way!
If I was to build a '28-'32 Ford, this is what it would look like. Oh goodness, indeed!
Wow.... An all yellow '71 'Cuda, just hangin out in the lot. Such a kick-ass car.
And, let's end the trip with some humor! On the way home, we saw this Bozo. What a clown! (sorry, bad pun intended!)
