Easy HEI Upgrade for Mopar cars
The first time I did this to a slant six I was AMAZED at the simplicity of the conversion. It also allows you to bypass the ballast resistor which is a benefit to that sometimes troublesome part.
I used an electric ignition distributor in the swap but have found later that you can utilize a points type distributor as a trigger with the addition of a resistor in the wiring.
