1971 Plymouth Duster
It's another rusty old Mopar!

I wanted to get this running again Friday. I pushed it out of the garage when I started the Business Coupe, and got the bug to get it drivable.

When I stopped working on it before I had already collected the parts, so it only cost me some fluids and a couple brake lines. I did the wiring, finished installing the headers, swapped all the front brake lines, installed a disc brake proportioning valve, an oil filter adapter for the headers, and lots of other stuff. The gas tank could be full of crud, haven't checked. Been chasing an electrical Gremlin, chased it into the steering column, so I should be able to fix it.

I still have to throw in the driveshaft, finish the rear brakes, and she'll be a driver! Exhaust and registration, too....

Putting the engine, tranny, and one of the headers in. I already got the 8 3/4 in, now with the engine and tranny in, I can check the driveshaft length, and get it ready to go!

There it sits, the suspension rebuilt, waiting for the disc brakes and spindles so it may come back down on the ground. Still need to get the brake hydraulics put together, too.

Some stupid moron backed into my '75 Duster. Now, it was no musclecar, but at least it was a great running, nice looking daily driver. I picked this '71 up for $50. It was missing the door hinges, and the seats were shot, and had some rust on the quarters.

Soon, it will get the 318 from the Scamp, and rebuilt front suspension. And a lot of parts from the '75 Duster.
