waywardgarage.com← back to 1932 ford roadster← back to a most amazing 1932 ford frame find 1932 ford roadster - assorted parts coming togetherI'm a mock-up king, I love getting cars put together before the actual putting together gets going. My buddy Dan keeps giving me a hard time, saying "More parts for the car you're not building right now?" He's right of course, but dang it! It's a 1932 Ford!
At a Turlock swapmeet I found some fairly nice rear fenders, an original luggage rack rear spreader bar and of all things, an Australian 1932 Ford rear luggage rack. All from three different swap meet sellers. Amazing coincidence?
Only thee finest Rustoluem for this heap! I have a pair of original doors with most of the inner structure removed, but I came across a pair of Brookville doors with hinges for a decent price. I'll use them until I get around to fixing the other ones. There it sits for now. The cowl needs a bit more work before I can reassemble and use it but it's looking almost like a car now!
