Plymouth Satellite Sebring at the Turn

Plymouth Satellite Sebring at the Turn

Just a couple updated pictures of my rolling couch with a roof… Currently hauling butt to work everyday like a good daily driver should. The 318 is knocking out some decent economy, but the interior needs some major work. I probably won’t have it too much longer, I should be picking up a replacement engine for the truck this weekend.  Read More →

Nice shot at dusk. I was adding the old pictures I took of your car to the new version of my webpage, and it turns out those pictures were taken 6/24/03. Norm’s 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle

Fresh Paint for Tony’s 1966 Plymouth Barracuda

Tony’s Barracuda had been sitting in primer for years until Ian came along a month ago and started the heavy duty bodywork process. He was trying to get it finished for the Mopar Alley car show, but even though he missed that goal, the car is now painted. The paint is a 1971 Mopar color, “Sassy Grass Green”. I would have been hard to have picked more eye-poppin’...

Dad’s 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

My Dad has had this thing for a few years now, and I still think it’s one of the nicest cars I’ve ever seen. The body is beautiful, sporting a new coat of the original LeMans Blue paint and rolling on American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels for the muscle car look.  Read More →

Mopar Head Gasket Tech

Recently I stopped by to talk with Steve Carlson, another local Mopar guy. He had the top end pulled off the 440 in his ‘69 Road Runner. I learned that the thicker composite FelPro gasket head gaskets lower the compression a half point over the original style steel shim head gaskets. Every B/RB engine built since its inception in 1958 came with steel shim head gaskets regardless of...
