John’s Burger – 1970 Dodge Challenger Night?
Janelle and Andee were the first ones to show up to John’s Burger in Janelle’s F-1 Ford Pickup Truck. Andee’s Packard had a stuck float and flooded, so she couldn’t drive it down. While I was eatin’ burger, this guy shows up. Original owner (!!!) 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, 383 four barrel with a Shaker hood, rear window louvers, Go-Wing, and four speed! Only...

First Time Out! Drag Racing my 1970 Dodge Challenger!
Every summer the Wine Country Mopars host an event at Infineon Raceway. This year was the first year my Challenger was running and driving, so it took no encouragement from anyone to take it drag racing! This was the First Run in my 1970 Dodge Challenger. Ran a 14.1 at 97 mph with a stock 440 w/ headers, intake, and 750 dbl pumper. No slicks. This was the second run in my 1970 Dodge...
Mopars North of the Gate 2009
Wine Country Mopars put on a show every year at Infineon Raceway. It’s one of my favorites, because it combines all the popular elements us car guys like: Drag Racing, a Car Show, and a small Swap meet! This year I drove my Challenger up for a little drag racing. Kyle brought his Coronet, and we met Steve with his Belvedere there and Bill with his Coronet. This black on black 1970...
Subframe Connectors for the Challenger
Installed some el cheapo subframe connectors in my old Dodge, fabbed up out of thin walled 2×3 rectangular tubing. Levelled out and up on jackstands, my Challenger waits for the spinning wheel o’ sheetmetal doom. Cardboard blocks the flying sparks from pitting the glass. I wish I would have done this before I got the car going again, but like they say, hindsight is 20/20. First...
Just a random picture from Mike’s garage!

1970 Dodge Challenger meets 2008 Dodge Challenger
Kevin’s 2008 Dodge Challenger and my 1970 Dodge Challenger It was a chance meeting; I was on my way to Safeway at lunch and Kevin happened to see me drive by! He pulled up next to me, waved and gave me a thumbs up, so I shouted back “Hey, want to take some pictures?” so we pulled over into a nearby business parking lot. Kevin’s a cool guy, he has 1969 Dodge Charger...

Norm’s Geezer Cruise
Norm recently turned 40 and wanted to get the cars out and blow the cobwebs out of ‘em, so he put together the “Geezer” cruise!! Age is a state of mind, and I don’t think any “Geezers” were there, unless you count our cars!! Saturday. 10:47 AM. Lowe’s parking lot, Livermore. The Small Block Chevy ratio is only 50% in this picture. It’s...
1970 Dodge Challenger hits the road! (again!)
1970 Dodge Challenger hits the road! (again!) Drove my Challenger to John’s Burger finally, and the day after took it out for a couple pictures! I worked hard all Friday to get it in an epoxy primer, and everything fough me along the way. The wind kicked up as soon as I put the mixed primer into the gun. My good gun is clogged so I tried one of those $20 Walmart guns, and it isn’t...
