Subframe Connectors for the Challenger
Installed some el cheapo subframe connectors in my old Dodge, fabbed up out of thin walled 2×3 rectangular tubing.

Levelled out and up on jackstands, my Challenger waits for the spinning wheel o’ sheetmetal doom.

Cardboard blocks the flying sparks from pitting the glass. I wish I would have done this before I got the car going again, but like they say, hindsight is 20/20.

First cuts have been made! I opened the rear subframe so I could slide the connector inside before I welded it up.

Test fitting the subframe connector….

Starting on the driver’s side…

Both sides completely welded in.

Thats a LOT nicer job than what I did. About time, too! Car feel any different?
