Fresh Paint for Tony’s 1966 Plymouth Barracuda

Tony’s Barracuda had been sitting in primer for years until Ian came along a month ago and started the heavy duty bodywork process. He was trying to get it finished for the Mopar Alley car show, but even though he missed that goal, the car is now painted.

Sassy Grass Green

The paint is a 1971 Mopar color, “Sassy Grass Green”. I would have been hard to have picked more eye-poppin’ color for the car. They have some ideas for black stripes, so I’ll have to snap some more pictures later!

When I took these pictures that paint was only hours old!

  1. That is an AWESOME RIDE!!!!! LOVE THEM MOPARS!!!! I like how u went with the sassy-grass green, I currently have a 1963 Plymouth Valiant 4-door that is in really Solid & Great Condition, it would be ideal for a restoration, I was going to restore it but I Would Trade It ANY DAY For A 1966 Plymouth Barracuda “Glass-Back” that was in decent condition, That is my dream car i will have one someday…… Again….Nice Job Dude!!!!!!! MOPAR Or NOCAR!!!!! email me if your interested in the valiant / pictures……. speeester@aol.com
