Norm’s Geezer Cruise
Norm recently turned 40 and wanted to get the cars out and blow the cobwebs out of ‘em, so he put together the “Geezer” cruise!! Age is a state of mind, and I don’t think any “Geezers” were there, unless you count our cars!!

Saturday. 10:47 AM. Lowe’s parking lot, Livermore. The Small Block Chevy ratio is only 50% in this picture.
It’s 11:01, time to head out!!
Cool old GMC Cab-over! I love the color on the truck…. the orange paint sun-soaked and weathered for years!!
We stopped for lunch at “the Junction”, it’s an old motorcycle hangout halfway up old Mines road, where it splits and heads towards Patterson and up to the Lick Observatory. Jeremy and Shannon had to head home, but Norm wanted to head a little farther up in search of “Tuolumne Elk”, a species that was reintroduced to the area 38 years ago!
He suceeded in finding a pack of ‘em, but they were pretty far out. We could see them though, Norm’s Super Mega Spy Camera had the range to see them, but I don’t have any picture!
Parked again while Norm searches for the Elk.
Since we the spare time, Ian wanted some better pictures of his car. See more Pictures here.
Another great place to stop!!
Greg’s 1968 Chevy Truck
Ian’s 1973 Pontiac Firebird
My 1970 Dodge Challenger
Brian’s 1978 Pontiac Trans Am
I can’t really emphasive that I had a ton of fun getting out and driving our cars!! Towards the end, we started driving “more spiritedly” and that was a freaking blast!!
There are four vehicles at this point; Norm’s 1972 Chevelle, Jeremy’s 1951 Chevy Truck, Greg’s 1968 Chevy Truck, and my Dodge!!

Ian and Brian caught up with us on the way up there in their Pontiac Trans Ams!

Food!!!
