Justin’s FED – Front Engine Dragster

Justin’s new Dragster mocked up for Midnight Mass 2009 at the Cal Expo Center.

Justin tells me:

It’s a 1971 sterling chassis that has been front halved and back halved with the current wheelbase being 208″
Supposedly gene adams ran it in jr fuel way back when. The guy I got from had a 324 olds motor running low 8′s on methanol. he blew the motor one too many times.

Currently I’m looking for a shorty powerglide to mate everything together. I’m also saving money to buy a firesuit and some of the other required goodies to get some single digit passes under my belt.

The motor is on loan from a friend. it is a 460″ BBC 12.5:1 .630 lift solid roller, etc, etc…
